It is a matter of opinion. I'd rather be broke and in a place with warm weather and fun minded people, rather then folks that have "lived in Michigan their whole lives and won't leave no matter what".
Gets old.

If and when my current job vaporizes, I'm outta here! I don't see any reason to stay and starve in a dying state. As much as I love the climate, the relatively low population density, and the state's natural beauty, I'm not going to allow myself to either starve or work for slave poverty wages.
