Seems like he just wants a job in politics rather than a desire to serve somewhere that he has applicable interest or skills. I would like to meet him or at last see him live. In the advertisement war, he is losing. I am surprised to hear it is close. Not a big fan of Peters, but it is starting to sound like party hack vs party hack.
I think the same thing too. James is just running attack ads on what peters did not do, rather than what he will do. Which is kind of sad, because I thought James was a pretty decent man and capable of breaking the establishment politics in Detroit.

Yes, and they are inaccurate attack ads. They would be less nauseating if true.
James is younger and prettier than Peters. Unfortunately that's not enough.
I vote for moderate Republicans if I like their platform. He is not one of those.
His parents don't even share his politics! They are Democrats.

I mostly voted for libertarians in this election, except president and senate were both democrats. I’m a centerist voter, maybe with a slight left lean, and a person of color (southeast Asian origin). I have voted for both republicans and democrats before. I just don’t think John James properly represented centerist and Republican voters of color. It was disappointing.

Seems like he is getting bad advice.

That points pretty strongly to Peters.

I don't think that side necessarily represents the majority in the state. To be clear, I'm not a huge fan of her for a variety of reasons, but frankly she's better than what some of the alternatives would have been to lead us through this mess.

Its crazy though, the exurbs and rural areas are hardcore Trump. Everywhere you go its Trump signs everywhere.
The cities and suburbs are a bit more of a mixed bag. The wildcard is the silent majority in suburban and urban areas who aren't flag-waving, yard sign displaying, generally moderates that want nothing to do with either side.
You would think rural is all hardcore Trump, but it's not.
Farmers are very upset about the losses they have experienced since Trump created the tarrif war with China.
I was amazed driving up north 127 deep in what I thought was Trump territory a couple trips in the last month or so. So many Biden signs on FARMS!

I think Trump’s endorsement of John James will cost him, just like what happened with Bill Schutte.

This doesn't make any sense. Trump won Michigan two years before the Gubernatorial race occurred and had, and continues to have, a very large, enthusiastic base here.

Bill Schuette was a terrible candidate, very lackluster, low energy, and it seemed like he didn't even want to win. He was very much in bed with Rick Snyder who most people blame the Flint water crisis on, and it seemed like he just wanted the election to be over.

Contrasted with Schuette, John James is a bundle of energy and momentum and Trump is doing great in Michigan right now, even better than in 2016. His support shouldn't hurt James at all.

Peters is also running attack ads. Where is this great Michigan healthcare plan Peters keeps referring to? I am not referring to the Cadillac plan Peters gets at taxpayer's expense.

Trump is "doing great" in MI?

I went all the way back to the start of Sept and only Trafalgar has Trump leading MI, except for one Zia poll.
