Well now you don't have to worry about it, you get get out and build up some businesses now that Obama won, you can dedicate many long hours and hard work, pay your employees good wages like $60,000 a year and benefits of course. Oh - and make sure your businesses profit because Obama needs that money for his programs.

You can invest in the stock market now, I was expecting that Obama supporters would do that Nov 5, waiting until Jan 21 isn't really the smart thing to do because that will increase joblessness if you wait too long.

It's a new day, Obama won and now you must make the economy turn around.

If you examined some of the listings I provided you will see that Bush was ridicoulosly friendly to big corporations and polluters, but I don't notice the equivalent job growth (that is supposed to bring) over the past several years. The issues regarding that are complex. Both Republicans and Democrats are to blame for some of the legislation of the 1990s which included NAFTA. This has led to a "trickle down impact" of jobs continuing to be outsourced or cut entirely. Another issue that is a problem is our unfair trade policies that have favored imports for a long time. This ties into the current huge budget defecit related to the trade defecits of the past. Some of the highest job growth rates in the past 40 years also occurred when greater regulation was present. I agree that smart regulations are better than excessive & over-the-top regulations. There is not much coorelation in the data to support the idea that less regulation= more job growth. Smart regulations that enhances the health and overall environment for everyone without hindering growth is always a good solution. I believe in the ingenuity and technological capabilities of Americans to meet the challenges we face.

Where else is there more clean fresh water than here? Especially with the outstanding infrstructure that we have (outstanding, but aging).

Michigan will be back. Maybe not for 5-10 years, but it will come back.
I'm pretty sure most high tech manufacturing is done overseas, And it seems like poorer countries will always be cheaper to manufacture in than the US until the US is as poor as they are, or they are as rich as we are, however you want to look at it.

Much of Intel Manufacturing is done in New MExico. That have a big water shortage problem there. Other high tech is done in California, Massachussetts, North Carlolina and even some here. Further they may have to come back here as some of the other countries run out of available water. One difference is that thrid world countries will just take the water from the people in order to support industry.

Well I for one hope we move to enact National health care, get out of Iraq, Regulate the corporations that got us into this mess, get a real energy policy, and roll back all the executive orders that chen... I mean bush did. As for GM why would we give tax payer money to a corporation so they can pay for health car for union people and not give the same care to the people who’s money it is? I say if you do prop up GM than we need to tell them they will dismantle the Hummer plants and all big trucks and gas guzzlers. They have to cut CEOs CFOs and the likes pay by 3/4. I am sick of hand outs to the corporations that got where they are by bad planning. Paying bonuses to people for bad work rendered. If not then GM can go by by. Is this not how those neocons say it works?

This is what the business organizations are recommending. I spent $587,000 for a new well rig. I have to cover myself.
That is 19 days before Obama becomes the new president....sooooo whose fault is it that your workers will lose their insurance?

As of Jan. 1, 09 I have no employees. They are contract workers and will pay their FICA, or not. Health care or not. They will get 1099's.
I changed the business completely.
