Any ideas on how to get snowmobiles from Either St. Ignace or Mackinaw City to the island? That is, before the ice bridge freezes over.

the only way besides the ice bridge is taking it over on a ferry in late fall...which has passed, people fly when they leave the island....pretty sure though the planes are not big enough for snowmachines!?!? walking! snowshoeing....people mostly snowmobile...cross-country skiing....there are some sleighs too....
