Could anyone tell whether school district is good or not & what are the good apartments there? Is it a safe place to stay?

I have known two people in my life that have lived in Midland.

Both got the hell out of there.

Why are you moving there?

Midland has very good schools, from what I hear. Just because someone "got the hell out of there" doesn't mean that it's a bad place. There are plenty of people that hate every place that they live because they have a crappy attitude or burn bridges everywhere they go.

Welcome to the City of Midland, Michigan

You really can't go wrong in Midland. The entire town is VERY safe. The only area that has ever been questionable is downtown ... but it has been completely revamped since they put in a minor league baseball stadium. All the schools are good in the area. It only takes 10-15 minutes to get from one side of town to the other.

I've heard Midland is safe, with good schools. It seems to be very family orientated place.
