Hi. I am considering a move to Marquette. I currently live in Philadelphia, Pa. We get snow here but it isn't much. Usually our snow is a heavy wet snow. I understand that your snow is generally powdery. I would hopefully be transferring to the Walmart, so I would need to be able to walk to there from either the Trowbridge area or the Grove St. area. I've heard that there are walking and biking paths. Do they run in the direction of the retail area where Walmart is or only to the downtown/school area? Can you walk on back streets in the snow to the Walmart area? How about walking on 41? Could you also give me an idea of how your busses run there? Ours here run generally 24/7 so you can get anywhere you need to. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.. We would like a better life in a better place. Philadelphia is too rude and too high crime.

I do not believe there are any sidewalks within a mile or so of the Marquette Walmart. The city does have a transit system that runs out there. Marq-Tran
