I heard there is property as low as a dollar. Might need a bit of fixing. Where can I find such a list?

I heard there are houses in urban detroit going for $20 online right now.. Havent heard about land w/o homes though.
People are desperate to get out of their houses.. Its a shame. My value is diving because of it

The problem here is that the almost all real estate agents are crooks. One told me that my house is worth 100k or even less.So i have gone out and did some some work to estimate my home`s price and came very surprised out of it.Don`t rely on zillow or on real estate agents.Think twice because nobody is dumping anything, though it will happen and it will be a nightmare.I mean,is anyone witnessing any meaningful population exodus? We are still +10 mill pop....

There are houses for $1. I have looked at some of them. There are also a large number of homes for $1 to $8,000. These are simlar. They need a lot of work. Often they have no windows. Some have no wiring or plumbing and/or structural problems. Most need new roofs. They also come with tax liability, generally ranging from $8,000 to $20,000, sometimes more. These houses are in bad areas of Detroit. Most of them are in really bad areas (wear body armor type places). If you do not live in the house, it will be vandalized. If you do live in the house, you may be vandalized.

The solution is to get enough people together to buy 100 or so houses in the same area, pay for your own security and fix them all up and then either rent them out or live in them. You will have to maintain the private security forever. You also may need to build a private school and a grocery store. Some areas of Detroit (e.g. Palmer Park/Woods) already do the prviate security thing.

Buying a single $1 house in these areas is most likely going to turn out to be a liability and something that you wish that you had never done.

Just remember that a $1.00 house generally has a $5000.00 yearly tax bill attached to it...
