My question is, what happened to that city? I drove around today, just to see what has become of it on my way home from Troy, and I was blown away. The city is full of drug activity, housing projects, foreclosures, blighted buildings, and a couple buildings that were burned down. It literally appeared to Detroit in miniature. Don't get me wrong, I attend all the events in Downtown, and they are very nice, but the areas around Floral Street, north of Cass, and the area off Northbound Gratiot are simply horrible.
