I'm a 20 year old girl with Ehlors Danlos Syndrome (Type 3) and Dyscalculia, is there even a chance in hell I could get in?

Have you spoken with a recruiter in your area. They would let you know if you qualify or not. Good luck to you and Thank you for your interest in Serving Our country.

Recruiters can't make medical determinations. We can only send medical documents to be reviewed. Neither disorder is listed in the Ar 40-501 document, so there is no way to know if you are a DQ or not until you try. However, a LARGE part of passing the ASVAB is math- so you could face a hurdle there. I don't think they would hold the Dyscalculia if you have passed math classes (provide transcripts as evidence) and can score really high on the ASVAB. There are no waivers for not passing the ASVAB. You will have to pass the ASVAB before the recruiter can submit an Ehlors Danlos Syndrome medical determination.

If you are on medications or require continual care/therapy you will 99% not be able to join. If everything is pretty symptom free, you might have a chance.
