So my situation is a bit unique. I am 18 years old and female and will be completing my Bachelor degree in one month. My major is Business Administration with a concentration in International Management. I also have three Associate degrees in English, Communications, and Liberal Arts. I am also currently in the Civil Air Patrol.
My goal is to join the Air Force as a JAG officer and receive my commission while going to law school and possibly get financial aid from them as well if possible. I've had difficulties getting in touch with any officer recruiters and it's also difficult to find any officers at all that I could talk to about their experiences as I come from a small town that is dominated by the Marine Corp and Navy. I have done my best with what information I could find on the Internet but advice and guidance from an actual person I think would prove to be more helpful and beneficial.
It should not be difficult. Did you check their web site and contact the nearest officer recruiting office? Not all recruiting offices look for officers. The Air Force is a good branch and treats it people very well, but they are going through a massive downsizing right now. Just pick up the phone and call the recruiting offices in the bigger cities. They should be able to answer all your questions.
The problem is that recruiters are not well versed in items of JAG. I am an Air Force recruiter, so I know this from first hand experiences. If you can a local recruiter, they may or may not be able to direct you to the officer recruiter. I was an officer recruiter for awhile and I covered two states. They are far and few between. However, officer recruiters are VERY specialized. They may recruiter only pilots and regular officer, only Nurses, only Doctors, etc. JAG officers ARE NOT RECRUITED by recruiters. There is not a single recruiter that can help you.
Please do not get frustrated looking for a local recruiter, chances are there isn't anyone local. If you have a base there, you may have someone local who is a JAG officer at the base. Otherwise, they occasionally travel to law schools.

Thank you in advance for your time.
Kudos to you for all your hard work. My ds was in a similar situation. He started college early and also ended up with 3 AS degrees and a bachelors by 16. One of the associate degrees was after his bachelors. After a year of being underemployed, he decided to join the Air National Guard. He picked that area so he could choose his career path. He's hoping to get full-time active duty.
It sounds like you'll have to go out of your area to talk to an officer recruiter. Even though he had his bachelors, my ds had to enlist vs. going in as an officer. He was okay with that, because he was selected for a position that wasn't available until next year. They had to get permission to pre-fill it. He thought about going into the AF, but based on his ASVAB scores he figured they would put him in an area that required higher score, and thus more difficult to fill, than the area he wanted. That's why he ended up going with ANG while being up front with them that he wanted AD.
I don't know much about CAP, but it seems like they would also be able to help you. I know I don't have much advice but hang in there. You just have to find the right person to help you get on the right track.
