If I had known what I know now I would've absolutely done ROTC in both High School and College, and tried to get into an academy. Unfortunately, I didn't come to the understanding and make the decision that this is what I wanted to do until I had two semesters left - at which point I had already finished all the core classes I needed for my degree but was paying uni to take filler credit hour electives online from home to finish.
Grad school and ROTC sound like a solid option I didn't put much thought into, but it's a good idea case I can't get into an OTS for whatever reason. Thanks
