I'm looking for some sailors, where do they like to hang out? Also, is it true they like to have fork lift races on the docks?

Between taking care of your horribly injured girlfriend and chasing sailors , you are going to be busy.

Why are you looking for sailors? In today's high-terrorism environment, this is an odd post.

As SVTLightning said: "At Sea"

Boats I was on averaged about 7 months at sea every year.

There are usually two 2-weeks periods every year, when personal leave is approved. Sometimes personal leave is required during those authorized leave periods. Leave outside of those periods is not approved. So for 2-weeks at a time, go to your hometown and visit family. That is one month/year.

Otherwise, schools and rotating shift-work in team-trainers. This accounts for the other 4 months / year.

I have never seen such a thing. If it happened anywhere, no doubt the individuals got in trouble for it.

Sailors hang out around ships and Navy bases. If there isn't a Navy base near by there won't be many Sailors hanging out.

Horse play with government equipment isn't allowed and in my 26 years in the Navy I never witnessed fork lift races on the pier.

Odd questions though...
