WWII Life Insurance Claim Question (policy, reputation, how to, time)

I found a 1950 beneficiary change form from my dad's NSLI policy that lists four policy numbers.

At the time of his death in 2003 we filed for insurance and it was paid but I don't know which policy that was or if he had more than one based on these policy numbers.

I tried the VA unclaimed funds but I'm not sure it goes back that far.

I sent an email with the info but given the backlog reputation of the VA I was hoping someone here would have another idea how to check.
