I just got medically discharged from army BCT for a hip fracture. Now I am trying to enlist for the navy, my recruiter said it's possible I can still enlist, if the doctor at MEPS approve of the civilian doctor's paperwork, have any of you dealt with a recruit like me and managed for them to enlist?
My second question is, when going to MEPS for your medical, does it take months for results to come back?
I recruited for the Navy for 15 years and it was nearly impossible to get a waiver for someone that was discharged from another service for a medical reason.
