Just need more time for the Afghan surrender to fade away, and then elect an actual leader as our Commander in Chief. Doesn’t really matter which party, but someone that the troops respect.
Funny how few people agree with you isn't it? Even on the military forum. Without getting into details here, not everybody believes in what I will call a "conspiratorial mindset".

Labor market: Most challenging labor market since the inception of the all-volunteer force
Awareness: 50% of youth admit they know little to nothing about military service
Qualified youth: 71% of youth do not qualify for military service because of obesity, drugs, physical and mental health problems, misconduct, and aptitude
Family business: 79% of recruits have a relative who served
Disconnect with society: Only 1% of the population currently serves; veteran population is declining
But still, the only new information there is the problem with quality. All those other points have nearly always been true.

That is exactly what is happening in Ukraine. I'm sure there are tons of old babooshkas there who used to criticize younger generations for being soft, the same young people who have taken up arms to fight against the invader.

When Mattis bailed out of the White House, that should have been clear indication that something stank to high heaven in there. Mattis is nobody's liberal.

Don't forget Trump ran John Kelly, also a highly decorated Marine, out of the CoS position.

I noticed that when it was alleged Trump said that all the soldiers who had died in different wars were "losers or suckers" that Kelly remained silent. That he did not deny Trump said that spoke volumes to me.

He wouldn't have said anything in public directly against the president. But it was another brick in his walkway out of the president's service.
