USMC MCRD Parris Island, SC in Feb 1997. Ahhh good times. I don't remember half of the Marines I worked with, but I remember my drill instructors like it was just yesterday I stepped on the yellow footprints. Sgt Kreamer, Sgt Britton, Sgt Hoo and Sgt Maxwell.
In the hopes of sounding old. I did my basic training at Ft Gordon GA in 1976. I originally was sent to Ft Jackson but with the amount of soldiers going there They split us up. As it were I was there after basic for AIT since I went there to train as a radio operator.
