I was at Bainbridge for a few weeks in 1969. Pretty much transient personnel. The barracks built in WWI were still there, however.
hey, that area is where I grew up and lived most of my life...small world huh..it's all gone now..buildings torn down and now a big empty plot of land waiting for it's next incarnation in life..as for service for me..

basic training in Ft. Bragg NC 1968
For me big muddy mess,rained most of the time during 7 weeks,cold, and then on to diesel zchool in San Diego,servesd on AO 97 Allagash & Atf 146 Atakapa
