Mark Delfino a veteran Marine Sergeant who lives in Lafayette, Indiana performed his salute and attention during the
weekend of May 22, 2011, in front of the Walgreens Drug Store on Southern Boulevard and NM 528 in Rio Rancho,
NM. Delfino, 38, who served from 1993-97 as a helicopter navigator, founded the Standing for the Fallen organization
last year in response to a need that he saw with his fellow marines. He began last Memorial Day weekend and
continued every Sunday leading up to a 24-hour stand July 4.
