There is a new book out about the Coast Guard. I am active duty and have learned a lot of about our operations/history from this book that I never learned before. I highly recommend it for anyone in the USCG or just interested in how things run in the Coast Guard. It is called RESCUE WARRIORS.
Does the book focus on their military and law enforcement functions or just the search and rescue role?
It basically has a section for each section of the Coast Guard. personally accounts from people who work those jobs. It is not one of the AST only type books.
