It will be interesting to see how this movie does. Most ( I hesitate to say all, but think it might be) GWOT related movies bomb at the box office. Even good ones like Hurt locker. I'm not even sure how much of ratings success Generation Kill was on HBO. People go to the movies to escape. I wonder if the military angle will scare viewers away.

I thought the movie was okay up until the end. The ending SUCKED in my opinion. I actually boo'ed the ending. As an Army wife, it disgusted me to see that he actually went back to her after she dumped him, cheated on him and married the other guy while he was away
I don't care what her reasons were, you just don't do that to someone while they are deployed!!!
We are on the back-to-back deployment rollercoaster (last deployent was 15 months) and I still don't understand how someone can cheat, dump and marry someone else while their SO is deployed to a war zone. My 20 year old daughter's bf is currently deployed, and even she knows at 20 years old, you don't do that while they are gone
Is that the same guy that was in GI Joe? His acting is horrible!
I agree, might not be bad if they could find someone who can actually act. That guy is horrible...no doubt a product of the gay casting couch.
