As reported in Stars and Stripes this morning:

AP Newswire | Stars and Stripes (http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/A/AS_SKOREA_SHIP_SINKS?SITE=DCSAS&SECTION=HOME&TEMPL ATE=DEFAULT - broken link)

For those of you that aren't read into the Korean Peninsula wartime scenario these are scary times. War in the Korean Theater would be like nothing we've seen since WWII. We would have to nuke them to stop them from over running the south completely.

PS: And then there's the Chinese question...

Don't they pretty much promise to delare war everytime any kind of confrontation/issue comes up?

Kind of like the barracks scene in Stripes:

"If ya call me Francis, I'll Kill ya!!"

"Lighten Up, Francis"

Lighten Up, Kim

This kind of stuff has been going on years. There was even an incident back in the 70's when the North Koreans killed some American Army officers with axes. There have also been skirmishes at sea with fatalities at least back to the 90's.

NKor has sunk two ships, time to sink four of theirs.

These types understand one language and one language only: brute force, the more the better.

We have pussyfooted around with these cretins far too long. They were buttoned down for nationwide air raids after they took the Pueblo. What did we do? Nuthin!

Speak their language, if it involves blistering heat then so be it.

As for the Chinese, they can pay and play if they like.

We blew it during the Korean War when we didn't put them down.
LBJ and Nixon kissing up to them has not made them play nice and obey rules.

Unfortunately the spineless lackeys in DC at this time have no stomach for anything but spending gazillions in imaginary money, befriending America's enemies and punishing our friends, and not performing their sworn duties.
Happy days for the North Korean cretins.

Happy days for the North Korean cretins.

The problem being is that the U.S. doesn't have the political will to do what is required in Korea or the Middle East.

After serving in Iraq I realized that strength and brute force was the only thing the Iraqis understood and respected.

The average American will never understand the mindset in places like Korea or the Middle East.
