Have you ever been on the Autobahn?

Yes. Some cars are driving 60mph. Some are driving 130mph. All this with no issue and no cops with radar/laser guns disrupting traffic flow. What a novel concept.

because you have holier then thou morons that think nobody should ever go above the speed limit, it's against the law, so they will take their backwards theology and try to force it on everyone. Ignoring they are breaking the law by going slow in the passing lane.

There should be nobody going 45 on the interstate, period. These old grandpas or farmers just need to get off the interstate. This is 2012, not 1950... or 1985. There are no 'points' in South Dakota for speeding though, which is nice.

The minimum freeway speed limit in Michigan is 55.

Yesterday I was driving on I-94 from Milwaukee to Kenosha, and someone was in the left lane holding everyone up. Even with an open lane to the right, they rudely stayed put in the left lane.

Guess what? The car had Illinois license plates!

It's not just Wisconsin people. I drive this way a lot and have seen Illinois drivers blocking traffic quite often.

With gas being $3.52, why would you want to be flying along in the left lane at 70 or 75? You must be rich.

If you can afford a car, you can afford gas.

I thought everyone is supposed to stay in the right lane, if you want to go faster than someone in front of you you switch to the left lane, over take slower traffic, than you move back right. However, i see ALOT of people just cruising in the left lane passing nobody.

I drive on Wisconsin interstates alot. And everyone drives just fine, most of the traffic stays right, they move over for fast traffic and no one went below the speed limit. The only bad driving experience i had in WI was when a genius in a brand new Camero from Illinois who over reacted when two cars on a two lane freeway driving side by side and the Camero went in the middle of the two cars

the time cost for the extra time it takes on an extended trip depending on how much you make an hour more than makes up for the extra gas cost (time is money) .. unless you enjoy driving 60 on the interstate and taking in the scenery then I guess it's not really extra time for you, rather enjoyment. Personally I enjoy 80-85 on the interstate. 60 puts me to sleep and would likely result in me falling asleep and causing an accident. Everyone goes 80-90 out here though, the speed limit is 75 on interstates. Farmer joes to put along on the side roads, but must not use the interstate much as people rarely go under 75.

Really? I could afford a car and the gas for it 10 years ago. It's to the point where I hang on to my old cars and avoid car payments just because of gas prices and everything that goes along with higher gas prices.... EVERYTHING under the sun is more expensive now.
If they go any higher, I may be walking, growing my own food, doing without electricity... okay maybe not all that, but not far off.
Gotta love bad leadership in D.C.
Can barely remember the last good president we had.
