Hello everyone,

I wanted to know what alarm system do you use to protect your home? Also, how much do you pay per month?

I'd really like a short term contract, but I'm finding that they usually want you to sign a 3 year contract.

Can you please share your experiences?

Thank you in advance.

My buddy on the east side has a M16 and his AR15 and a couple of shotguns along with a bunch of knives. Not a hunter just likes guns.

PS: He keeps them all loaded and next to his bed, not because he thinks someone is going to break into his place but, they help him sleep better.

Rottweiler....Eats about $40 in food each month and provides company as a bonus.

Also before anyone tries to say I have a vicious animal that is totally not the case. She acts like a big puppy dog and they are great dogs if they are trained and not abused.

I don't think anyone here is actually going to divulge whether we have alarm systems or not... Not a good practice on the internet.

To ultracorp: I don't think any dogs are vicious unless in the hands of idiots

To further explain the point about a dog being great for home security: One day my dad was home sleeping when two guys started to try to break our basement window using a ladder we had outside. Roxy the Rottweiler was not messing around and started barking her head off obviously. My dad now awake put her on her leash and went outside to confront the two guys. As soon as they saw her they ran. No one get hurt and no one got in the house. In fact I would feel sorry for these guys if they actually made it inside. Nothing like a 120 pound dog defending her turft to spoil your robbery plans.
