All you really need to do is just be aware of your surroundings.

I see a lot of people walking with their heads down and/or headphones on at night, texting. Just vulnerable as hell. No bueno.

I'm new to this site.
Retired and looking to purchase a property in Riverwest to live in.
Any input on using this site or the area I'm interested in would be appreciated.
Thanks

Maybe you should start a new thread. Hijacking someone else's thread really isn't nice. Just a thought.
However, if you don't know how to start a new thread... then this site probably isn't for you. Not being mean - just being honest.

Really? Everyone has to learn somehow. It'd be better to help them out instead of telling them to leave.

To the previous poster, it would indeed be a good idea to start a new thread. By creating a new thread, you'll create a page with your post at the top, and people can respond below. You'll get better and more relevant responses there than you will here. To do that, click on "Milwaukee" at the top of this page. That will take you to the main Milwaukee forum. From there, click on the "New Thread" button near the top of the page. Go ahead and type whatever you want into the form and submit it.
