Sorry man but everything you just said is entirely wrong and misinformed. I don't mean to put you down but some people just don't have the ear for accents. Most people I'd argue as most people don't even realize they have one. If you think the guy from blink is just a normal sounding white guy you need to listen again and again. Listen to his vowels. Listen to how he says Colorado. Especially the last two syllables. Then compare that with a newscaster. If you can't tell the difference I really dont know what to tell you. hate to say it but I think you're the one whose mistaken.

Are you really taking that poster seriously? Troll is a four letter word around here... so I'll just say they probably live under a bridge... you really didn't figure that out?

Arguing with your own sockpuppet?

Honestly OP- the gentleman in the clip sounds more like someone from the Dakotas or MN. I would have never suggested cali with that accent. Maybe people from Cali try to sound Midwestern unknowingly, being common T.V. speach derives from the Midwest. Late post

Milwaukeans share an accent with the entire Great Lakes region. This accent is heard from Buffalo to Duluth. Sure, there are provintial differences but the foundation is the same. I don't know what to tell you about the Cali-voiced Milwaukee men you met. Were they hipsters? Did they go out of their way to appear stylish? If so, this might explain what you heard.
