We are looking at building with Tim O'Brien homes in the Waukesha area. They are a home builder with lots near Madison and all over Waukesha and into Milwaukee Counties. There isn't a lot of stuff on the web from past customers - probably due in part as they are a newer builder.

This is a little late, but I saw you had no responses so I wanted to let you know about our experience with Tim O'Brien Homes. We bought a "spec home" and not a custom built home, but we absolutely love and adore our home. Our heating bills were close to what they were in our condo which was 900 less square feet and only about 15 years old. The layout of the home makes sense and there is no wasted space, it is a pleasure to live in. There is also alot of greenspace in their communities which is great for our family. There is one Tim O'Brien home in our community that has had residents in it for a year, and they can not say enough good things about their home too. We really do love our home.

We started working with Tim O'Brien Homes in May 2013. After 3 months, and feeling that we were continually put off, we finally thought we were close to an agreed price. We even had a site visit and were ready to sign contracts. Then we got an email with new pricing that raised the price by more than $20,000. We ceased working with them. We decided that we could not trust them to build our home.
