Hey 414,

Where are the best holiday light displays in MKE (or surrounding area)? Bonus points if it's one of those cheesy awesome ones that are set to music.

The most famous one is probably "Candy Cane Lane":

Celebrating our 18th year as Wisconsin’s largest and most spectacular drive-through holiday lights event! Country Christmas features over a million holiday lights festively displayed along a mile-long trail that winds through the woods. You’ll experience enchanting animated figures and holiday scenes – all from the comfort of your car.

Country Christmas

And Candy Cane Lane although from word of mouth, it is not as big or spectacular as it used to be. Be prepared for long lines.

Country Christmas is presented by a bank, a company. Candy Cane Lane is Homeowners who put out from their own pockets. Big Difference.

Sure, I guess I was thinking of something free and less famous than Candy Cane Lane (I go every year and it's always great but so crowded)...

I went to Candy Cane Lane last year and was terribly disappointed. It's okay I guess. Just don't' expect to be amazed.

Only a 35min drive from the Zoo Interchange, unless you drive 55 in the left lane then probably a 45-50 ride.
