Hi everyone,

I'm moving to Wauwatosa soon and in the process of looking for apartments. Disclosure: I have never been to Wauwatosa in person, but am familiar with the general layout of Milwaukee and the surrounding areas. I keep reading about the downtown area of Tosa, referred to as "The Village." I gather that this may be around the Metcalfe's Market area, by W. State Street and N. 68th St. (this could be incorrect). Can someone fill me in on where exactly the village is (and is not)? Thank you!!

I'd assume it's the area around Wauwatosa (76th) and State.

A charming place, I visited in the summer one year, all kinds of people and good outside seating at the cafes. There is a little bridge and a river that runs through the area.

Tosa used to be wonderful. And once Scott Walker moves out, it will be again.
