I was against recalls when a few repub's tried to start a movement vs doyle. I think recalls should be abolished. That's why they have terms. Not a big fan of impeachment wither unless it's a real horrible offense.

Neither political party has the market cornered on bigotry and racism.

Stuff like that should be reserved for the most extreme offenses. Walker did things not unlike some of my private-sector employers have done. What do you do? Put up with it or find another job. Or in this case, just work to get him voted out next time.
Recalls wreak unnecessary havoc on the political system. All that money, time, and effort could be put to more useful things.

What part of "This thread is a pathetic way to cover up the REAL story of the fair" do you not understand?

I would suggest using a park and ride lot to get to the fair. I think it's easier to do that than try to park down there.
It's unfortunate that there was this episode of thugs disrupting the fair but it sounds like the organizers are trying to take it seriously so I would not be overly worried about going down there. Don't forget to try the fried snickers.

My wife and niece were down there the first afternoon and things were getting bad in the middle of the day on the midway. We have decided we are no longer going to the state fair until they move it outside of the Milwaukee area. We're also wondering how long before this happens for Irishfest.

Well if the same type of people do this at Irishfest there is no way certain people can claim that racist hate crimes are not occurring against white people.

I hope this crap does not happen anymore, but I know that is wishful thinking.

Question Wisconsin State Fair Thoughts?

Before I post my thoughts or experiences that I had recently this year I just want to know what are your thoughts of state fair? everything about it? what do you like, don't like? What would you change or your first impressions or memories of this fest. Would you take out of towners there and what do you think other peoples first thoughts of when someone asks "Hey! wanna go to state fair?"
