I found a house in the Enderis Park that I am interested and was wondering if anyone was from there/around there and could tell me if it is a safe place. Doing a drive through of the neighborhood it seems pretty safe, some crime maps say it is very safe and some not so much. I have younger children and want to make sure they are safe to play outside in the yard/at the nearby park as well as not putting my family at risk by just strolling though the neighborhood. Are there just certain areas to avoid? Thanks!

Go visit the place during the day and talk to the neighbors. While there take a look if doors and windows have bars? And if it looks nice and clean with kids playing around, or not. Are there any businesses targeting poor people (AKA "Checks Cashed", etc). Are there any multifamily buildings nearby? How do cars parked on the street look like?

From looking at Zillow, and the fact that it borders with Wauwatosa, and average home prices being fairly up, I'd think it's a nice and safe neighborhood. But it's not me who's buying a house there.

Enderis Park is nice neighborhood, still many police officers, firefighters, teachers and other city workers live there. Goes back to when the city had residency rules. Spend time in the neighborhood talk to people who live there or go to the farmers market that is in Enderis Park every summer that should be starting up soon. All in all nice enclave in the city.
