Hello all!

Broad question, but I’m basically doing a wide search of different parts for the US that might be good for my family...mostly my 9 year old son who is autistic. We’re going to be making a move soon and desperately need information to help us in our decision.

Can anyone PLEASE give me as much info as possible on autism services around the Milwaukee suburbs area? School districts? Speech? OT? ABA? Literally any information will be so helpful.

We also have a 6 year old boy who is not on the spectrum. My husband is in hotel management and a real estate agent. I work in Probate.

I’ll take any insight I can get! Feel free to ask me for more info if it helps. Thank you in advance!

-Heather

I have no idea. Did you do a search? A few things come up, but they're a bit dated. Not sure how helpful they are.

You might contact organizations such as the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin. They have a web site along with a resource directory:

I can't help with the autism part, but I can attest to the fact that many if not most Milwaukee suburbs have good-to-excellent public schools. Very family friendly area all around. I don't think you would have a hard time finding what you're looking for there.

Thank you! :-)
Any areas in particular you would recommend or even any areas not to be desired?
