Is there bank fishing of lake Michigan anywhere around Milwaukee? Moving there, Bay View area, end of next week. Like to fish and though it is always nice to catch something I enjoy just being out and watching creation. I also like to walk near the water. Are there any safe walking areas near the lake and close to bay view?
How about state parks with lakes or city parks or rivers nearby?

You can always find people fishing right off the beach at the bottom of Bay View Park. There is a nice paved trail down there that goes up and down the shore for miles. That whole area is safe. Lots of joggers, bikers, dog walkers and baby stroller pushers.

Do you mean South shore park? Or is there another park in Bayview called Bay view park?

Bay View park is the park right on Lake Dr across from the seminary. Different from South Shore park. There are steps going down the cliff to the lake.
