Hello,

I have to take a trip to Milwaukee on Super Bowl Sunday. We will be hitting Chicago right at noon time. A family member who lives in Chicago said it will be a zoo at that time....we can't leave any earlier, so I'm wondering if there's a good alternate route that won't add much time to our trip?

We are coming from Louisville, KY.

Thanks!!!

You shouldn't have any issues mid-day Sunday, especially if you use the Tri-State (I-294) to circumvent downtown.

You'll be fine, most of Chicago will probably be at home or at another party working on their third beer by then before the game...

one thing about 294 is that you'll have to pay about 5 bucks for the privilege. More annoying is having to stop at the darned toll booths every 10 miles. if you take 94 through the city (again, shouldn't be bad tomorrow at that time) you will avoid most of the tolling, you'll just hit one before the wisconsin border.

BEARS!!!
