Today (Oct 15th), is not the LAST day to register to vote according to the Portage (WI) newspaper. One may register anytime up to and including election day.

However, today is the last day to register WITH OUT Identification. Again, according to the newspaper, your ID can be as simple as a couple of utility bills showing your name and address in the town/ city where registering and your WI drivers license.

All of the town/city clerks in central Wisconsin are urging everyone to register prior to election day as the expect a large turn out.
