My "scene" is wherever I happen to be that day or night.

With that said I'll gladly bump for Dennis and the gang at Wolski's. And, in past years, the staff at Hooligan's, but turnover has increased dramatically in recent years. I believe Mark and Jeff are still around. Jaime the owner at Botana's is "good people." And I'll bump for the Sandroni's, as good of people as you will find, at La Merenda.

I can go to a swanky place one night and then a hole in the wall like georgies pub the next night. I appreciate both, there's something to be said about an old school Milwaukee tavern.

Anyone ever been to Georges Pub on 224 E Washington St?

It is right off of 1st street and Washington, sandwiched in between a railroad bridge and a factory, it looks like an old house they converted into a bar, very old school Milwaukee kind of place.

No, where is Washington? Have you ever been to Barnacle Bud's? It's totally hidden off of Bay St., they've got an outdoor deck, right on the river. Boats can dock there, it doesn't even feel like you're in Milwaukee.

So funny you bring that up, b/c that's the way Georges is like. Hidden , tucked away and you wouldn't even think to look for a bar in an industrial area. Now speaking of Barnacle Buds, funny story. I stumbled upon skipper buds. I took the long way to get their, I went down a real long lonely street then made a left and there was this marina completely hidden from the rest of the world. So while I'm looking for the store part of this marina we walked around the corner and BAM!!! There is this bar/restaurant called skipper buds and I was shocked, I thought I was in the swamps of Miami or Louisiana. That bar looked so cool tucked away from everyone else and a view of the city but I love the fact you can pull your boat up right to it.

Now wasn't there a bar that was in an old train car in bay view as well or was that in Sussex?
