It's amazing every year after winter Milwaukee's lakefront water including inside the breakwater is really clean and clear until MMSD decides to move my poopy to the lake. 500 millions gallons of sewage dumped into lake Michigan during last rain fall. It is amazing we can't even manage to build a water system without having to dump sewage into the lake and our rivers, this goes for every major city in America. Where are all the enviro's on this issue. As someone who uses the lake weekly this make my blood boil.

The greenspace along the lake is pretty continuous. A vast majority of the parkland along the lake is east of L.S.D.

Lincoln Park alone has more greenspace than all of Milwaukee's lakefront parkland combined I believe.

It is not easy to see it while driving.

Is your segment as developed (for bathing, walking and jogging) as their stretch?

I realize you have festivals on your Lake, but I bet most Americans don't even know or care that Milwaukee has Lake Michigan!
Let's hope it stays that way.

The Lake has two 'current pools' (areas of flow), a shallow one that extends from about Port Washington and South, where the flow is clockwise, and a deeper one that covers the N. 2/3 of the Lake, and has a counter-clockwise flow.

Since both Milwaukee and Chicago are in the same current zone, I believe you'll find the conditions to be similiar.
