Currently, I would say the construction business isn't doing so hot. I have no idea about the future.

I'm sure someone else knows better than me.

Not great, but unfortunately, the trade isn't doing well anywhere right now I'm afraid! The problem with MN is some construction is restricted to certain months due to climate.

My husband has been looking for work in the architectural field, it's dead right now. I can't imagine construction is much better.

Construction has to be the worst industry to be in right now.....NOTHING should be going up until some of the vacancy is absorbed!!!

One of my friends just shut down his high-end Mpls area home remodeling business due to lack of work. Now he's retired, doing his art full time, and he's happy.

The job outlook in the construction industry / building trades in Minnesota is pretty dismal. I have a handfull of friends up in the Twin Cities who work in various positions in the construction industry (Architects, Engineers, Plumbers, etc). Many are laid off and the remainder aren't getting 40 hour work weeks anymore.
