Just curious who attends or has checked out the Cars and Coffee Events (http://http://www.mncandc.com/ - broken link)?

Lots of exotic and classic cars! Really cool place to get business ideas and network as well.

I recently read an article in Forbes talking about the net worth of exotic car owners. The local Minneapolis Bentley dealer was mentioned, and said there are about 140 Bentley's in the Western suburbs alone (accounts for about 95% of them registered in the state).

The average purchaser of a $180,000-$300,000 Bentley Continental is in his early 40's with a net worth of about $10M. The more costly Bentley Azure was usually purchased by a male in his mid-50's and has a liquid net worth of $30M.

Ferrari would only say that their average purchaser almost always pays cash, has a net worth of at least $1M, but nearly 70% of the buyer's own at least one other Ferrari.

It's funny that when I tell friends about this from other areas of the country, they never think of MN having an exotic car scene, etc..
