You mean like a microwave oven heats up food. This sound unhealthy at best.

That kindda makes sense, I have heard there's a direct correlation between Vitamin D/sun ray and enhanced mood. I know of someone who once was on florescent light (has same wave length as a sun light) treatment in winters to alleviate winter moods. But excess UV can be bad for you.
