Spring couldn't come soon enough for us. As people who don't like the cold, we've realized in the last few weeks that you can only go to the Mall of America and Como Zoo/Conservatory so many times. Other than that the options for things to do around here are pretty limited. Anyone else suffering from the late winter blues? Can anyone think of anything else interesting that can be done without spending extended periods of time outside?

Yeah, we've done that. Alot of it is closed on weekends though which is a huge bummer.

Yes, I am very sick of winter, but it looks like the weather is going to change for the better after this weekend. Long range forecast is for a string of 40's and maybe even a few 50's next week (so far). Lets just hope the flooding is not as bad as forecasted.

I am ready for spring. I don't have problems with the cold and have no issues with going outside, walks outside, etc. and have loved actually having a winter with SNOW for a change but this time of year I am ready to golf. Last year at this time we were golfing, in shorts.

A nice GRADUAL melt would be a good idea, thanks. Last time the cities saw snow of this magnitude there was some pretty major flooding (Shepard Road was under water in St. Paul, The sand barrier (the other real word gets bleeped out by the language filter) in downtown Stillwater was 3 stories high. Not a good thing.

If you are sick of winter, you couldn't have picked a better time to do so considering the "meteorological spring" is just around the corner. I too am very sick of winter at this point! Apparently with La Nina's, which we are in, the Springs are cooler and wetter than usual, which is pretty much par for the course to date. I do not remember how summers are though -- does anyone?

Where did you see this forecast? I just checked weather.com and I didn't see 40's and 50's.

I want to ski SO BAD! I ski'd all of my life and raced competitively through highschool, but since college I've gone ONCE over the course of about 10 years and I miss it so bad! Maybe I'll see if anyone I know wants to go?!
