I am moving there at the end of Sept and am looking for a place.
check out the classified section of City Pages - Music, Restaurants, Movies, Arts, News and Classifieds Weekly in Minneapolis & St. Paul they have a lot of good listings. I've been looking at craig's list listings too.

You could also try Apartment Search (apartmentsearch.com). They have offices all around the Twin Cities with listings of apartments you may not find online. They take a commission from the apartment management, not you, if you happen to take one of their listings.

If you are looking for rentals in Mpls, look in the Mpls Star Tribune and if looking in St. Paul, the Pioneer Press. The Minneapolis paper has a St. Paul Issue but the rentals are mostly for Mpls.
