It's perfectly ok. Just not in a bar.

Why? Why can I go to the bar at 4pm and not at 4am? Doesn't make any sense to me. So its ok for me to drink during the day when kids are coming home from school at 4pm but I can't leave the bar at 4am when the roads are free?

I'm all for 4 a.m. as there are fewer people out on the road to do damage to others. Might work better though if there were nearby places to get something to eat like a big greasy slice of pizza.

I was being sarcastic. Sorry. I can understand a bar closing because the place doesn't want to stay open 24 hours, but the whole mandated by law bit makes no sense to me, either.

It would be nice for those of us who occasionally work swing shifts.
