Well, I am in HR and I just lost a guy who commuted from Savage to Plymouth (which borders Mtka).

My son used to live in Prior Lake and commuted to Eden Prairie to work; he now lives in St. Louis Park and has a much shorter and more relaxing commute. (EP borders Minnetonka on the south; he now has to drive through Minnetonka to get to work).

I think the key to cutting your commute times in the twincities area is to not cross any rivers.

Excellent point Kuan. I've turned down jobs because of that. The minute you need to cross a river, you are STUCK. There is no way out.

The limited number of river crossings on the south side does increase the commute time.
