There are just some areas that aren't as safe as other's, put it that way. There is a small section of Eagan (over by 13) that sees a lot of vandalism and petty crime. It's just easy to avoid that nonsense by living elsewhere in town.

I have heard to avoid the lexington/westcott area apts due to major crime? You are saying that the lexington area is safe? Any more detail? Thanks

I have to agree. I think a general address with cross streets are required. I just mapquested Hill Ridge drive and not much there, but also not in a dangerous area.

I also questioned Lexington area because depending on where it is, it can be industrial and therefore, transient..

The Westcott area is further south then Yankee Doodle. There are about 4 or 5 fairly large complexes right at Lexington and Yankee Doodle that are very nice and safe. Westcott is about a mile south of those and while that ONE complex may be not good, the Westcott/Lexington area is actually a very residential area with some fairly high end homes. I have several friends that live in various developments right in that area and they have had no issues at all.
