The most beautiful mansions around Lake Minnetonka

What others are notable enough to place on this thread?

I don't think any of those fit any definition of "McMansion" that I have heard. The all look like custom built luxury homes to me.

Most houses in the western Suburbs are perfectly normal homes ... my parents' house in Minnetonka is a standard rambler built in 1960 or 61, and while they've added an additional room and a deck on it over the years, they've lived there for almost 50 years.

Hate Edina. They deserve it.

Is it just me or does that youtube video show pictures of the same two houses over and over again? Lake Minnetonka is huge, you'd think they could find at least 7 or 8 monster homes to gawk over. Thumbs down to that video.

I noticed a lot of For Sale signs on the Whitefish chain this summer, also, but I'm not surprised as many of those are probably secondary homes.

I'll take the mansions in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, as long as we're just going to look at them.
