Was named #1 in Minnesota. I've never had it, is it really that good?

I think it's great pizza. Is it number 1? I can't say--I also really like Pizza Nea and Punch, which are generally similar to Black Sheep. But sometimes I absolutely crave a Carbone's Pizza or an Uptown, or Michelangelo's, or etc...

I'll second your answer.....

MSP magazine rates it second behind cosetta's. I don't think Cosetta's is #1 for pizza, lasagna certainly, pizza not so much

Love black sheep; I like pizza nea too, but it's really a different style of pizza that that.

Really, REALLY good. Not sure if it's #1. Top 5 for sure, I would say. It's tough to pick a #1 since there are so many different styles.

Never had it, but want to try it. I'm personally a little tired of the "Neapolitain" kind of pizza and actually PREFER the American-Italian pizza much of the time. Davanni's (fresh) is my fave MN pizza, and I love Green Mill (fresh) for deep dish!
