Wrong. North Mpls is a large geographic area, as is South Minneapolis- far too large of areas to be painting such broad brush strokes for things better left to neighborhood to neighborhood comparisons. My neighborhood has as much access to businesses and is as nice or nicer than a number of So Mpls neighborhoods.

Thanks, I was referring to South and North pretty broadly. I have two family members who own homes in Camden and there are businesses there, but not as many as in most neighborhoods in S Mpls. But the person is asking about a neighborhood where there are very few amenities, and that's what I was attempting to get at.

I expect that the new Mpls Public School admin building will add new life to the Broadway commercial strip, which would be a great thing for N Mpls.

West Broadway registers a pretty high walkscore, and rightfully so- there are a lot of businesses on the corridor (not much in the way of sit-down restaurants, but it will get there). The 600+ new employees that will call the new MPS Admin building on W Broadway home should definitely help out in this regard.
