Dress for the weather. What I mean is: We don't care what you look like here, so dress for function, not fashion.

This might vary depending where in the state you live and where you are going at the time.

I have seen previous threads where some people were advising newcomers to show up for their first day at a corporate office job or job interview downtown dressed like they are going to be on ice road truckers or a winter season of ax men.

Some guy at my last office job ended up having the nickname "snowpants" for years because of advice like that.

A warm coat, gloves and maybe a hat should be sufficient additions to interview attire even on the coldest days.
