So I'm planning a picnic date this upcoming Saturday and it is Memorial weekend. So I was hoping to find a quiet place for it or if you know of a park that is not too busy over Memorial Day weekend it would help me out a lot.

That is a tough question since there are so many parks, depends on if you want to be in the cities or drive a ways. You could try Hidden Falls along the river in St. Paul. City of St. Paul, MN - Official Website There 3 Rivers Park District has some nice parks as well.

Afton State Park is nice for picnics. ~15 miles west of the city, on the St Croix. Don't know how busy it'll be on the holiday.

I'd choose Como or Highland Park. Both are among the nicest parks I've ever seen.
