I've successfully identified a location in uptown ( cowboy slims) where I can leave my motorcycle overnight during my weekend binges. Does anyone know of a location in downtown minneapolis one can park my motorcycle for free?

I won't say it doesn't exist, but I would be surprised to find reliable, safe free parking downtown. You'll risk either being free only at certain times or in areas that are inconvenient/unsafe to be leaving the bike unattended.

Uptown has more neighborhoods and neighborhood streets so likely why you found a free place. Downtown is not the case - it's either privately owned land or city streets are all metered/otherwise patrolled.

I thought I saw places where motorcycles were parked on sidewalks. For sure I saw motor SCOOTERS parked that way. I thought downtown MPLS made concessions to those who rode 2-wheelers.

Thanks for your reply GBCommenter, I'm still wondering if there are any specific parking spots designated for motorcycles/scooters, paid or unpaid. Beenhere4ever I can still park at a usual metered spot sideways on the road, wondering if we do get concessions for scooters like you mentioned! For instance, Lake calhoun has people parking right outside tin fish scot-free which is awesome, I'm trying to find spots like that.
